Howzat sponsors Philip Asiodu Schools Championship

The Howzat Foundation For Cricket, in collaboration with F.C.T Cricket Association and the NCF, bring you the 21st edition of the Philip Asiodu Secondary Schools Cricket Championship, in Abuja

Its Easter again and secondary schools from all across the country will be gathering for the 21st edition of the Philip Asiodu Cricket Championship. The Nigeria Cricket Federation have decided to partner this great Cricket competition as this have proven to be the longest sponsored secondary championship in the history of Cricket in Nigeria.

Grassroot development has always been the bedrock and basis of this administration hence the Federation’s commitment to support the coordinators and sponsor of this tournament.

Date: 13th to 16th April 2017

Venue: Cricket Oval, Package B, National Stadium and Area 10 Cricket Ground Abuja

Time: 9am Promot.

10 schools have been invited for this tournament namely

  4. Government Secondary School Owerri Imo state
  5. Bishop Crowther Seminary Awka Anambra state
  6. Comprensive High School Ayetoro, Ogun state
  7. Oke-ado Grammar School, Oyo state
  8. Enitona High School, Rivers state
  9. Imperial College, Benin-city Edo State
  10. Government Day Secondary School Odo-okun, Kwara state…

Schools are expected to arrive on Thursday 13th April 2017
