30th & 31st March 2017: NFC, in collaboration with Plateau State Cricket Association host cricket exhibitions and training courses in Jos, with many dignitories in attendance
The Nigeria Cricket Federation in its bid and promise to spread Cricket around the country has decided to expand its development project to Plateau State. This event took place on the 30th and 31st of March 2017 at the RWANGPAM Township Stadium Jos.
The 2 days Cricket introductory and course and exhibition was carried out by the Regional Development Officer for North Central Mr. Ehiguse Uadiale.
Basic coaching and introductory courses were administered the first day and a demonstration match played the next day attracted various people from all works of life leaving the stadium filled to its brim.
over 10 schools were in attendance and the plateau Asians also showed great interest in supporting the Federation and the Plateau State Cricket Association in the Development of the Game.
The Federation also donated equipment to the Plateau State Cricket Association while the president in his remarks promised that the Federation will continue to support the game till a sustainable level in the state adding that the quest to spread the game across the country remains paramount in the Agenda of his administration
Receiving the Equipments, the Director of Sports Thanked the Federation for their commitments in developing the game and promised to maximize the opportunity to ensure Cricket becomes a main stay in Plateau State
