The players arrived camp on the 10th of April to to sweat it out before having a final 3 trial match series to determine the best from the lots to embark on this trip. The trial matches have been scheduled for Friday 15th through Sunday 17th of may with the selectors in camp to watch every game ball after ball.20160415_151821

The first trial match was highly contested with some players making early statements while other are right there in the mix, the team manager Mr Sanmi Ajayi reassured the players that every position in the team is up for grabs with no shirt specially reserved for anyone. The President of the Federation Engr. Emeka Onyeama also re-iterated his commitments to taking Nigeria Cricket to a higher level and pledged to always support the national team the best way possible.20160415_151719
